What 7.62x39 was made for (in a platform with real accuracy).
Let's face it: The typical AK isn't a very reliable rifle -- especially when we're talking about short-barreled setups. That's why 7.62x39 gets a bad rap when it comes to accuracy.
This 10.5"-barreled AR-15 upper changes that. Even Eastern Bloc hipsters will admit the AR is the more accurate platform. That's why we're excited to offer uppers chambered in 7.62x39. This upper provides the perfect balance of accuracy and ergonomics, achieving near optimal muzzle velocities without the bulk and weight of a 16" barrel (or a regular ole' AK).
This upper works with all standard AR-15 lowers, too. And it includes a BCG. Slap it onto any lower receiver assembly and you're ready to hit the range -- don't forget the 7.62x39 magazines, of course.
