If you're planning an LR-308 build, a good lower parts kit is on your to-buy list. It'd also be nice if your lower parts kit came with a more comfortable grip than the standard A2 grip. Aero Precision makes a lower parts kit designed for their own M5, a .308 rifle design proprietary to Aero Precision. However, it can also work with your LR-308 build and give you a more comfortable grip as well with the Magpul MOE grip, provided yours too is based on the DPMS gen 1 pattern. NOTE: While this lower parts kit will work with your DPMS gen 1-patterned .308 lower, it was specifically designed for the M5 by Aero Precision. This means that while it will still work, the pivot and takedown pins will protrube farther from the lower than those of a standard lower parts kit.
